Abbrivio is the Italian word for “headway” and it refers to the inertial motion of a boat per the brand’s website. A prelude of fresh orange from Brazil meets juicy blackcurrant and santolina, which smells a bit like chamomile. Ripe strawberry provides a bit of fresh sweetness to usher in the excitement that is to come.
As we leave the port, coumarin embraces the oceanic airiness of seaweed and ambergris. There is no doubt that we are sailing now when the richness of tonka bean mingles with cane sugar, providing a saccharine contrast to the saltiness of ambergris and seaweed.
The base embraces the fine woods used to craft our vessel. The earthiness of patchouli is bolstered by cedarwood, dry oak, Sandalwood from Australia, woody oakmoss, and clean musk.
